கடந்த 24 மணி நேர நேரத்தில், 14,516 (நேற்று15,902) புதியக் கோவிட் -19 நேர்வுகள் பதிவாகியுள்ளதாகச் சுகாதார அமைச்சு தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

இதுவரை பதிவாகியுள்ள தினசரி நேர்வுகளில் இதுவும் அதிகம். செயலில் உள்ள கோவிட் -19 நேர்வுகளின் எண்ணிக்கையும் மிக உயர்ந்த அளவில் (165,840) உள்ளது.

மேலும், இன்று 207 (நேற்று184) கோவிட்-19 இறப்புகள் பதிவாகியுள்ளன. இது நாட்டில் இத்தொற்றுக்குப் பலியானவர் எண்ணிக்கையை 8,201- ஆக உயர்த்தியுள்ளது.

R-naught has reached 1.15 – இது ஆபத்தாகும். R-naught என்பது கூடினால், கோவிட் வேகமாக பரவுகிறது என்று பொருள்படும்.

There are four states that reported new cases in the four digits – Selangor (6,508), Johor (1,449), Kuala Lumpur (1,425) and Kedah (1,160).

Apart from Perlis, no other states in the country qualify to be under Phase 2 of the National Recovery Plan.

The Health Ministry said that the vast majority of new cases were among people who were no vaccinated against Covid-19.

As of yesterday, the R-naught has reached 1.15 and has been trending up for three consecutive days. A R-naught of more than 1.00 suggests that the spread of Covid-19 was accelerating.
