YOURSAY ‘An NGO is now representing the Prime Minister’s Office?’

Why should PM outsource his job to an NGO?

Malay group to hold meeting with ‘Eminent 25’

Truth Prevails: Najib Abdul Razak should face the Eminent 25 without a shade of fear. Najib may be the PM but those in the Eminent 25 group are men and women of experience who have seen the good, the bad and the ugly.

Enlisting this good-for-nothing group to intervene simply tells the whole world that Najib is frightened to engage with the Eminent 25.

Appum: The Eminent 25 wrote an open letter to the prime minister. So why should a closed-door meeting be held unless the agenda is again on Ketuanan Melayu, insult to Islam and royalty.

I hope the Eminent 25 stay true to their principles. I doubt they can be ‘bought’ over. Most of them are seniors and at that age, they would be more interested in spirituality than materialism, I think.

Look at the agenda of Malay Consultative Council (MPM). If the Eminent 25 meet with this group, then we are back to square one.

Why should the PM outsource his job to some NGOs? Isn’t he capable of handling any issue by himself?

Get his entire cabinet behind him if he needs support. Even the chief secretary to the government, who has some standing, can represent the PM instead of an NGO which has only self-interest at heart.

I don’t think our dear PM realises how precarious the state of our nation is.

Touche: This is not a meeting to discuss the issues raised by the Group of 25 (G25). It is more likely to ask the G25 to apologise and withdraw their letter. That is why it’s not open.

Anonymous #55961902: The so-called ‘power’ of the Malays is not lost. It’s only Umno-BN’s power which has been depleted and that ‘power’ shifted to Pakatan Rakyat.

If Umno Baru-BN remains arrogant, they will lose more ‘power’ to Pakatan come GE14. This is the reality and not that the Malay community has lost power to other communities.

My advice to Umno Baru is not to deceive the Malay community by creating an imaginary enemy to ‘strengthen’ Malay unity. Such method does not work now because the Gen Y of the Malay community is well-informed and are educated.

Hidup Rakyat: Indeed, please be reminded that we Malays are not under threat, it is only the Umnoputras that depends on the “Lu tolong saya, saya tolong lu” at the expense of the general Malay population that are under threat.

Only the rent-seekers, cronies and parasites will feel the pain if the corrupted regime is kicked out.

Onyourtoes: An NGO now representing the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO)? Are we for real? Have we privatised the PMO?

Anonymous #05023297: For God’s sake, the PMO can’t even take a lead on this. It has to be outsourced.

By the way, the Eminent 25 will be turned left, right, centre, up, down, forward and backwards until it gets bogged down on every little thing.

That’s the standard operating procedure (SOP) when dealing with troublesome Malays who could not be coerced or bribed.

Kilgore: We must remind ourselves that in virtually any other culture on this planet, such overtly racist speech would be totally unacceptable, and probably illegal.

Racial equality is fundamental to any respectable, modern state. The way these fools talk so brazenly with such unchecked arrogance and jaw-dropping ignorance is enough to make a decent person puke.

Abasir: The group of 25 should reject this offer as a supreme insult from the man who took time to meet a shameless and utterly despicable dropout late in the night to purportedly discuss a scholarship but has no time for this.

Clearly this reveals the character of this man who has a well-earned reputation for indulging in shady deals, bloody conspiracies and outright lying.

Hplooi: The Malay Consultative Council (MPM)? This illustrates the meme that Najib is not in control.

He is merely reacting to conditions as they occur on the ground. Issues that really matter (such as the ‘attack of the illogical-zombies’ afflicting Malaysia) are taken out of his hands.

Note that the MPM is not exactly known for their ‘moderate’ views. Most likely this is an operation engineered by the extreme rightwing faction for damage control and possibly to nip in the bud the ‘revenge of the moderates’ from gaining traction.

Fairnsquare: To restore the strength of the Malay race? Since when did they ever lose their strength? Perhaps lost opportunities due to nepotism, cronyism and corruption.

The New Economic Policy (NEP) has been in operation for 45 years and we are still talking about loss of ‘strength’.

In the beginning, it was meant as assistance to the bumiputeras (Malays), to help them achieve a better economic and social status. This became a right and privilege during Mahathir Mohamad’s regime.

Hopefully, the Eminent 25 will be able to open the eyes of the NGOs that their actual threat is from within, in the form of corruption, nepotism and cronyism.

RCZ: Here we go again. The Malay race, the Malay race and the Malay race. Why can’t these organisations just take care of Malaysian interests for once?

The Eminent 25 will be brainwashed with the existence of so-called threats to the Malay race or attempts will be made to brainwash them and so it goes on and on. Where is the PM?

Imanust Nais Yalam: I think Umno can now start to outsource the PM’s job.

Touche: There is a pantun going round taking the mickey out of the PM and it goes like this, “Banjir datang Najib hilang, Najib datang kapal terbang hilang.”
