YOURSAY ‘She is more effective than an entire pantheon of comic-book superheroes.’

Clare – a one-woman army for justice

‘Pissed off rich M’sian politicians are ruthless’

yrsayonewomanarmy Ferdtan: Clare Rewcastle-Brown is a heroine doing the job all Malaysians should, by right, have the courage to do.

It has to take a foreigner, albeit one born in Sarawak, to love Malaysia more to take such risks to fight corruption and for justice against the powers-that-be.

Understandingly, most Malaysians are wary in fighting the difficult battles with the government, having to tread carefully, to ensure they would not be arrested on flimsy charges. Former opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim is still paying the price of challenging Umno-BN government.

For people like blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin, it can also be rewarding to switch sides to make use of past battles against BN to his advantage.

Haveagreatday: Yes, Rewcastle-Brown, thank you so much for making the fight against corruption in Malaysia so much a part of the Sarawak Report.

You and Sarawak Report have ensured those corrupt politicians have to continually look over their shoulders.

Buttman: Rewcastle-Brown is more effective than an entire pantheon of comic-book superheroes. Infinite blessings, heartiest gratitude, and may the truth you bring to light sets all humans free.

Jaycee: You keep up the good work, Rewcastle-Brown. You are our voice and hope. The corruption in the country has gone on for far too long – all at the expense of the taxpayers.

Rewcastle-Brown, please do not let them intimidate you and continue to publish the injustices that take place behind closed doors.

Without Sarawak Report, we won’t be able to comprehend the depth and seriousness of the corruption here in the country. So, thank you once again.

Np: I hope that those who had committed the crimes will be punished one day because of your good work.

SteveOh: Malaysia to become a developed nation? Not by a long shot.

Venture into Rewcastle-Brown’s world and suddenly ‘the rich Malaysians with political power’ will look like a bunch of Asian mafia mobsters. In England, they will be media fodder, prosecuted and face prison sentences for life.

Rewcastle-Brown is an amazing woman and deserves all the support we can give her in her one-woman jihad to bring the corrupt to their knees.

It is a dangerous mission – to expose the corrupt, who will not stop at anything to get their way, as she has disclosed.

Rewcastle-Brown is the stuff of heroines, a brave woman and journalist, hanging on to the story that has to be told despite the death threats from her cowardly enemies.

I hope to see her get Journalist of the Year award for her 1MDB expose. That’s not what she wants but that’s what she deserves. CRB – corrupt robbers beware! I salute you.

Versey: I just want to let Rewcastle-Brown know that thinking and fair-minded Malaysians who truly wish to see a clean, prosperous and efficient Malaysia are very thankful to her courage and endeavour in exposing the corrupt deeds of unscrupulous politicians and their cronies.

Please take no notice of the stupid utterances of sycophantic politicians. Should you choose to take legal actions, you can be sure that the public’s support is with you, except that most are worried that you may not get a fair trial.

We wish you good health and all the best in your undertakings. Again thank you, for your hard work and courage.

Anonymous_1393648884: As an objective reader, from Day 1Sarawak Report published the articles on the 1MDB scandal, I did not doubt the truth of its reporting and I am strengthened even more in my conviction that Sarawak Report is 100 percent accurate in its reporting.

I take my hat off to Rewcastle-Brown and thank her sincerely for her love of fair play and justice.

Abasir: Corruption in Malaysia? It’s like spitting in public, something first done discreetly and then over time when armed with titles and with practice, they do so boldly with nary a thought about concealing the act.

That really explains the RM2.6 billion in someone’s personal account. “Who dares to ask questions? Just(o) who?”

Armchair Newspaper: What an indictment against our “free” press and system of governance in Malaysia that the 1MDB expose is led by someone living in the United Kingdom. We should confer on her the highest order of dato seri.

Well Thats Fantastic: This world really could use more like her. When did we give idiots the right to be leaders and politicians?

What happened to all the great men, the thinkers, the men who gave speeches yesterday that are quoted all over the world today?

Is it any wonder the world lives in fear of the decisions leaders make when we see what they are willing to do to us in our own countries?

How do we get back control when they have installed their henchmen in all key offices? I think I want to volunteer for that Chinese moon base on the dark side of the moon, I can’t bear to see what we are going to do to ourselves next.

Caring Citizen: Thanks, Rewcastle-Brown. Perhaps there will be potential film producers interested in getting the full story and making a movie from it.

Move aside ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’, ‘Slaying of Malaysian Wolves’ will be a blockbuster.
