YOURSAY | ‘Why is he not passing all of the information immediately to the authorities?’

Yoursay: With a bro like Azwan, S’gor MB doesn’t need enemies

Azmin’s brother hands MACC evidence alleging ‘extreme corruption’

Roar for Truth: MACC should treat this information by Azwan Ali as credible evidence with utmost importance, unlike those “fabricated hearsays” presented by the US Department of Justice (DOJ) on 1MDB.

MACC boleh!

Anonymous 2436471476414726: When artistes like Sheila Majid, Nur Fathia Abdul Latiff and others criticise the government, Umno says they are being made used of by the opposition.

So when Azwan, who is also an artiste, wants to bring down Pakatan Harapan leader Azmin Ali, can it be said that he is being made use of by Umno?

Anak JB: This is called washing dirty linen in public. Azwan’s judgement must be very poor – of all people, he chose to work with Sungai Besar Umno chief Jamal Mohd Yunos, the towel-clad publicity-seeking man.

That said, the Ali family must be one of the most intriguing, especially with colourful characters like Ummi Hafilda and Azwan.

Shibboleth: Yes, the family must be dysfunctional. Both this brother as well as the sister Ummi are seeking to malign and destroy another brother.

Clever Voter: It’s obvious that Azwan has quickly learnt the tricks of the trade. Whatever evidence he has given is between him and his brother.

Such family quarrels should be left at home, otherwise it’s merely another soap opera for us to be entertained.

Retired_Sj: Isn’t Azwan from the TV3 ‘hiburan’ (entertainment) shows previously? What is he doing talking about the Selangor MB?

Okay, so he has so much “evidence” about “extreme corruption” involving his brother? Then why is he not passing all of this information immediately to the authorities? Why all this delay and so much drama? Is it just to make the headlines?

Worst of all, why is he pretending that the so-called evidence is not about his brother? If you want to ‘bocor’ (leak) secrets and you have so much proof, what are you waiting for, Mr TV personality?

JusticeKini: Indeed, bring all, why bit by bit? MACC is not a night market but an enforcement authority.

If your allegations are true, then Azmin will have to face the music or else your days are numbered for doomsday awaits you.

By right, being his brother, you should be proud of him as the Selangor MB, not merely trying to please Umno/BN.

Ric Teo: A treachery from a member of his own family only shows how greed and jealousy can triumph over blood relations.

Just because his brother, the Selangor MB, did not help him, Azwan now uses everything in his means to bring him down.

Jing: With such a ‘brother’ in the family, who needs enemies?

Vgeorgemy: It is indeed nice to know that Azmin had given copies of all the “extreme corruption” to his brother for safekeeping.

It seems he had no space to keep these so we should let the authorities keep the documents at taxpayers’ expenses.

Such brotherly love this is.

Anonymous 788831449650206: Can a person who has no filial piety and who makes a report so publicly motivated by political bias be trusted?

Warrant Addict: Let’s keep calm, it is better Azwan than Jamal. At least Azwan has some entertainment value with his trademark “Amboiii” from his days at TV3’s Melodi show.

But in seriousness, dear Azwan, please recall the good times during your childhood days with your brother Azmin; in the same house eating, playing, and sleeping. Now you want to stab your own brother in broad daylight?

If there is any ustaz or lebai (religious teacher) here, please give this poor man a ‘khutbah’ (lecture) so that he repents.

Malaysian Lover: MACC is not the place for Azwan, Azmin and the rest of the family. If they are fighting one another, then let them fight in their own house.

We, the rakyat, are not interested to know what is happening to their family. Please do not waste our time and money on this.

Slumdog: One can choose friends but unfortunately you cannot choose your family.

Unspin: Battle of the Umno-sponsored weirdos: Round 1: Jamal vs Ali Tinju. Result: Jamal won. Round 2: Jamal vs Azwan. Result: To be announced.

Eric See-To, Guan Eng settle defamation suits

Wg321: It is supposed to be a goodwill settlement after both parties agreed to drop their respective suits against each other in the judge’s chamber.

Yet after the deal, BN strategic communication deputy director Eric See-To was still aggressive, vindictive and hateful; he kept on attacking Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng and kept insisting he was right. If that is the case, why settle in the judge’s chamber?

With this type of character in Penang BN, it is the fastest way to lose the goodwill of the Chinese community.
