The Prime Minister Dato Seri Najib Razak says UMNO members can participate in the 16th September Rally. There is also a suspicion that the support to this unholy rally is to divert the attention of the Malaysians from the 1MDB affair and at the same time to strengthen the stained hands of Najib. And there is now a warning to non-Muslims to keep away from the rally.
It is therefore not a Malaysian rally – it is a rally to divide the Malaysians along religious lines. This does not sound good or healthy for the future of Malaysia or to create Malaysian awareness. It is a dangerous precedent which ought to be condemned.
