Husam’s sacking – PAS’ loss is Amanah’s gain

yrsayHusam'sackingVijay47: I have never been a fan of PAS but when I used to do parliamentary duty, I always found sacked former PAS vice-president Husam Musa carrying out his MP role in a calm and dignified manner.

His statements reflected the hard work and research he had put into the subject under discussion. Why, to a large extent, he was like Tan Seng Giaw. The old Tan Seng Giaw, that is.

Just a Malaysian: Husam represents the elegance and thoughtfulness of a religious man. He has my respect.

Mamadias: Even constructive criticism is not accepted anymore, especially in Umno and PAS. It’s time for West Malaysian voters to ditch these parties.

For East Malaysia, it may take another 50 years before they can become really educated about the alleged wrongdoings of the BN cronies there.

Mushiro: PAS is following Umno’s footsteps in sacking members who criticise the president. It looks like the presidents of both parties are very fragile and have to be protected.

It is Twilight Time: Husam is now given a platform to expose PAS’ alleged immorality, hypocrisy and lunacy at the two coming by-elections.

Husam, you are on the right side of history. Allah has a reason to detach you from the infamous PAS religious madhouse.

N1: PAS should sack more members so that nobody except the extremists are left in the party for everyone to see their true colours.

Obiwan: Why Husam has chosen to remain in that alleged cesspool for so long is difficult to understand.

Mojo Jojo: @obiwan, just a guess, but it might have something to do with the PAS oath Husam took as a state assemblyperson in Kelantan.

PAS is past, we know it. Pack your bags and say farewell. More time spent is more time lost. Take to the future, be your own boss.

Men of desert, men of sand, lunacy is in Abdul Hadi Awang’s hand. Leave thy pression, leave thy tension, to a party where wrong is in cessation.

Cogito Ergo Sum: So they kicked out a sane man in a sea of religious madness. Your loss is Amanah’s gain.

Abasir: Sacked from PAS? That means Husam has been certified sane and civilised.

S’pore slaps three more charges on ex-banker in 1MDB probe

Cogito Ergo Sum: Charged left and right, yet not a squeak from Malaysia’s investigators. The culprits overseas are falling like flies but nothing is happening locally.

It is as if these foreigners had committed the offences all by themselves, without any help from Malaysians. Yes, everyone in Malaysia are saints and we are surrounded by a sea of international crooks.

Wafi: The opposition is repeating its false and misleading facts about 1MDB.

It is clear that these allegations are defamatory and they contained many inaccuracies – they will condemn 1MDB no matter what.

Denny Rose: The 1MDB scandal is a matter of public interest. This is not merely “opposition chatter”, but all taxpayers in Malaysia have the right to know how the 1MDB scandal will affect the country’s economy and our future.

The recent plunge of the ringgit is causing deep anxiety amongst Malaysians, and the recent implementation of the GST (Good and Services Tax) is not helpful.

Ordinary Malaysians want to know why shady characters like flamboyant tycoon Jho Low are involved in multi-billion deals involving 1MDB, and if there is any wrongdoing committed.

The very fact that Umno is trying to quell discussions on 1MDB, and persecute those who question 1MDB, increases public suspicion on its financial dealings.

Sabahan: Other countries are investigating 1MDB, but in Malaysia, the Umno-BN government is acting like the proverbial three monkeys – see no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil.

SusahKes: So, the world surrounding PM Najib Razak and his brainchild 1MDB continues to collapse. All the bit players and pawns are falling, but the king himself stands.

When will justice see he be held accountable? I wait for the day.

Speaking Sense: Indeed, when are the real culprits in Malaysia going to own up?
