YOURSAY | This sounds like a gangster who is upset that his ex-leader has turned over a new leaf.

Yoursay: ‘Kurang ajar’ minister shows he has no brain

I’m ‘kurang ajar’ because of Dr M, says Nazri

Doc: Here are my thoughts on this ‘kurang ajar’ minister:

1. Mohamed Nazri Aziz was allegedly mentored by Dr Mohamad Mahathir to be ‘kurang ajar’ and he has since indeed become a ‘kurang ajar’ minister.

2. Nazri does not deny that he is a ‘kurang ajar’ politician.

3. Did Najib Razak make him a minister because the PM favours ‘kurang ajar’ personalities to fill his cabinet?

Just when I thought Umno politicians have hit rock bottom on the “dumb” scale; they just amaze me by lowering the “dumb” scale even further down.

Anonymous 2413471460628504: Yes, blame someone else for your deficiencies, why don’t you?

When will Nazri realise he is an adult with brains God has given him and he is fully responsible for his own actions?

Do these people think that someone else will go to jail for the crimes they have committed? Do they think God will punish their parents for their sinful behaviour?

Oxymoronictendencies: So Nazri, are you telling us that you are incapable of independent thought? Are you telling us you have no moral compass? Are you telling us that you are just another blind sheep to be led over the cliff?

If what your remarks infer is true, and you are not responsible for your own actions and you are just some low-level grunt jumping to your master’s bidding, then you had better resign because you don’t deserve to be representing Malaysians at any level, let alone as a “leader” with integrity.

A leader who can think for himself. A leader who knows right from wrong. And a leader who knows it is wrong to steal.

Slumdog: This is typical of Nazri – blame others for his failings. Yes, doesn’t he have a brain?

Isn’t he an educated adult, a minister of the federal government who should exercise sound judgement when he opens his mouth and know what to say and when, instead of being ‘kurang ajar’.

Either Mahathir was a bad teacher or Nazri was a bad pupil. I wonder what sort of parental example he sets for his children?

Anonymous #44199885: Nazri, once you are no longer a child, you are responsible for your own behaviour and blaming your rude and uncouth behaviour on someone else simply belies your lack of maturity.

That you would continue to do so at this age gives the impression of either a poor upbringing (which is much doubted), or a more likely explanation – a person who stubbornly refuses to adopt the values and moral lessons his parents worked to inculcate in him.

It is a shame that such a person has been chosen and appointed to the cabinet. It is Najib’s poor choices for the cabinet that results in a moribund economy and lack of initiatives to uplift the standards of living of the rakyat.

It is the lack of principles and morally-strong people in leadership, both in government and private sectors, that plague our country with misfortune and a rudderless economy.

Ib: This sounds like a gangster who is upset that his former leader has turned over a new leaf.

He forgets that no matter what he says or do, if you are now supporting someone accused of a RM2.6 billion scandal, blaming past leaders will not save your skin.

Gangsters are usually scared of leaving the group for fear of being done in, so perhaps we should have compassion and feel sorry for people in a situation like this?

But still, no one in their right mind will vote someone like him into Parliament come the next election.

Cocomomo: Take responsibility for your own words and action. Don’t be a coward and blame others or pass the buck.

Anyway, Mahathir has changed.  If you had learnt from him, learn from him now as well – change for the better, Nazri.

Anonymous_1421806811: I am sure educated Malaysians can judge who is the bigger fool; one who admits he is ‘kurang ajar’ because of his master, or the master himself?

Whatever it is, it shows how little the student has learnt and how arrogant he has become. One would also be tempted to say how stupid he has become.

Ipohcrite: Nazri, did Mahathir teach you to be supportive of a kleptocrat, to be complicit in covering up the alleged theft of public money by MO1 (Malaysian Official 1)?

Make no mistake, those who abetted in covering up the alleged theft will surely pay for their sins, and the day of reckoning is drawing near.

AntiRacial: I can accept if you say your ‘kurang ajar’, arrogant and stupidity are inherent in your family DNA but I could not accept when you say it comes from others.

If you claim you become ‘kurang ajar’ because of Mahathir, then it clearly shows that you have no brain to think for yourself.

Versey: A man that still holds some principles in life will be courageous enough to accept responsibilities for his failure in deeds/bad behaviour. He will do something to right the past wrong deeds/bad behaviour.

By blaming others, you are only avoiding to face some truth about yourself; eventually, you will lose your own conscience and becoming a man of no principle, not be able to discern the difference between good and bad, right and wrong.

Kangkung: I don’t have to take the trouble to explain. Courtesy, civility, respect, are some of the things that are tied to good breeding.

You just need to search “Nedim” and “samseng” and you will know what I mean.
