Tamil Foundation Malaysia is organising this year’s Fund Raising Dinner on Friday, January 18, 2013, at 8.00pm at MIDLANDS CONVENTION CENTRE, SJKT Midlands, Jalan Plumbum 7/100, Seksyen 7, Shah Alam.

Tamil Foundation as an NGO, aspires to contribute and work with the Tamil Schools administration inMalaysia  to improve and develop students who will become the Talent Pool and Fuel of the country’s economic growth and general well-being.

Our achievement to date has been largely due to the generous cash contributions from the public, our project partners and sponsors and that have enabled the Foundation to continuously sustain the many projects that we have been conducting till now. We intend to raise about RM300,000 from this Fund Raising Dinner to support our projects nationwide.

Tamil Foundation’s current Flagship Projects are:

1)      School Board Formation (Lembaga Pengelola Sekolah)

2)      PASS (Parents Assuring Student’ Success)

3)      CLMTS (Centre for Leadership and Management Training for Tamil Schools)

4)      International Mother Tongue Day

5)      Tamil School Forum

6)      TVET (Technical & Vocational Education Training) – Awareness Campaign

All our projects are featured on our website as well as in our Newsletter “Thisaigal”. Please have a good read on how these projects benefit the Tamil school students and Tamil schools as a whole. Tamil Foundation strives to empower our Tamil school students, parents, teachers, PIBGs, Headmasters and the Tamil school itself in our mission to achieve our objectives of uplifting the Indian community via the Tamil schools in this country.

The Fund Raising Dinner provides an excellent opportunity to get together in conjunction with the New Year while contributing to a purposeful and noble cause.  We appeal to your good self to support and participate in this fun filled fund raising project.

The Dinner tables are going for:  RM5000, RM2000 and RM1000. The RM2000 tables are still available.

We also accept your humble yet generous sponsorships and donations of any amount. All contributions can be addressed to YPPPTM, CIMB A/C NO:  1223 0009 700 – 053. Please also fax us your Bank-in slip so that we can acknowledge your payment and issue an official receipt together with a Thank-you note to you.
