Turncoat Brahmins, Brain Behind Tamils Failure – Visvanathan

b1The Hindu concept of God is that It is formless. It does not have a body, hand, legs, heart and not even brains. It is All Supreme Consciousness; so what is the need to have the brains or, for that matter any other organ human beings or animals posses? The Hindus call Him Brahman (not Brahma, which has a form). The other religions call Him by different names.

This Brahman (Supreme Consciousness) is nothing but infinite energy that is beyond human comprehension. This is the energy that makes all the planets in the constellation move in its regular path without failing for the past thousands of centuries. Therefore, He cannot take rest, even for a second for, if He did, the whole constellation will be in chaos. The European scientists prefer to call Him, Nature.

The planet Sun is the source of all the energy in our universe. It not only lights up the world, but it also supplies the energy for plants to grow. The plants absorb this sunlight and the animals grow by eating these plants and we in turn eat both the plants and animals.

The animals and humans do not possess the capacity to absorb the energy directly from the Sun; we have to do it through the plants and animals. Still some Hindus try to absorb the energy from the Sun directly by looking at the Sun at the first sunrise at 5.30 am and meditate on it. They cannot do this at a later time, as they are likely to damage their retina in their eyes.

b6In the Bhagavad Gita, Arjuna, the disciple, asked Lord Krishna what does God look like and Krishna’s reply was that it looks like a thousand suns put together. ‘If the splendour of a thousand suns were to blaze forth all at once in the sky, that would like the splendour of that Mahatman (Great Soul, God. Chap 12 verse 12).

One sun can cause death by heat waves; can you imagine a thousand suns put together blazing in the sky? That is the power of God. Now let us come back to the subject – who is a Brahmin? He is one who is closest to Brahman and he is suppose to teach the populace the knowledge of Brahman, the Supreme Consciousness (God). A Brahmin is next in status to Brahman and that is why he is referred to as Brahmin. He should not acquire wealth or serve any government for monetary benefits. His job is to serve God honestly and take care of the well-being of the people. If he did this, at the end of his life, he will merge with God, which the Hindus refer to as morksha (liberation).

To impart knowledge of Brahman to the people, he has to be a holy man, always meditating on Him. He has to impart the knowledge he had gained through meditation and study of scriptures to the children and adults without thinking of monetary benefits. His spirituality makes him simple, humble and generous. He commands much respect from the citizens, and they rewarded him generously for his livelihood. This is the true Brahmin.

With the passage of time the the Brahmins became corrupted. Their spiritual powers became a liability. The Brahmins by nature are shrewd and cunning. They became the advisers to the ruling class and in the whole process the rulers were dependent on them, as they possessed spiritual powers. The Brahmins took advantage of this and accumulated more powers into their hands. They were the ones, who advised the royalty to crystallised the caste system, based on families, rather than their intellectual capacity. Earlier the caste was based on the capacity of individuals. In a family of four children, for example, one who is inclined to spirituality becomes a Brahmin. the other a warrior, the third a businessman and the last, whose intellectual capacity is limited, becomes a labourer. Now the Brahmins have ordained that cast is family based and no transmigration of caste is possible. Now we have Brahmins, who are not fit to be Brahmins.

b2By the time Lord Gautama Buddha emerged on the scene in North India about 2,500 years ago, the atrocities committed by the Brahmins on the down trodden Hindus became so atrocious, that he decided to campaign against it. He fought against rituals practised in temples, as it brought no benefit to the down-trodden poor, but only the Brahmins minted money through such rituals. In the eyes of God all are equal and the caste system was a crime against humanity.

The Brahmins fought back against Buddha, but he was so popular among the poor that they couldn’t do anything to him. After his demise, the Brahmins eradicated Buddhism out of India. That became the Hindus’ downfall. The Hindus were so disunited on account of the caste system, that they became easy prey to the invading Muslim and Christian armies. Pakistan was not created by Jinnah; it was done by the Brahmins and so was Bangladesh.

When the Muslims ruled India, many Brahmins switched their allegiance to the ruling Muslims. They served their Muslim rulers as ministers  against the interest of the Hindus. Similarly, when the British were ruling India, they did the same thing. When they become turncoats, their subordinates also followed suit. That was how a small number of Englishmen were able to rule over 400 million Indians. The Brahmins merely changed their attire from their usual dhoti to coat and tie, with their holy thread of oath to serve God under them.

In spite of all the rapes, murder and torture meted out by the Sinhalese to the Tamils. By and large the majority of the Colombo Tamils could be honest to the Tamil cause, for example, Thantai Chelva would have been one of the Colombo Tamils. It was only a few Tamil leaders, who had their feet in Colombo, in spite of them being luminaries in law, advised the Tamils to live as minorities in a unitary state. That let the Tamils to their present plight in which more than half a million Tamils could have been killed over the last 65 years.

Similarly, not all Brahmins had failed in their duties, that was designated to them. There are many responsible Brahmins also. During my school days I had many Brahmin friends. My mentor was a Brahmin, but by and large the majority of the Brahmins today belong to the decadent group, as you would have noticed by now in the temples. So please pardon me if I had transgressed into your personal dignity.

The Tamils had a serious problem with the Sinhalese government since the days of independence in 1948. They have tried all kinds of peaceful means to regain their rights, but they failed. So the youths took up arms to win for themselves the state of Eelam. Two sets of Indians emerged to crush the Tamil desire to go free. One was the Keralite Mafia of Wikileaks fame such as M.K Narayanan and Shiv Shankar Menon. They shuttled between Delhi, Chennai and Colombo to lead the Tamils into Mullivaaikkal Genocide.

b3The others were the Brahmin advisers to Rajiv Gandhi, like J.N Dixit. Natwar Singh, the former minister in the Rajiv cabinet, wrote in his autobiography that Rajiv didn’t consult the Cabinet on the Sri Lankan policy; he made up his mind with the help of his advisers. The death of Indira Gandhi was the greatest misfortune the Tamils suffered. Otherwise, none of the two sets of advisers would have appeared in the scene.

Now a new BJP spokesman is emerging to the detriment of the Tamils. He is none other than another Brahmin, Subramaniam Swamy. He has a long history of working against the Tamils, both in Tamil Nadu and Eelam. A former Congressman, Velusamy, had accused him, as a Law Minister in the government, that he had failed to provide proper security to Rajiv on that fatal day in Sriperumbudur, near Chennai, in Tamil Nadu, on 21 May 1991, when he was blown up by a suicide bomber. Mr. Velusamy also accused him of announcing Rajiv’s death long before any journalist came to know about it. Fortunately for Subramaniam Swamy no government pursued the case seriously.

Now as the Chairman of the BJP Committee on Strategic Action, Dr. Subramanian Swamy said in Colombo that India will give Sri Lanka much more support than before at the United Nations Human Rights Council. He made these remarks at a panel discussion on the topic of “India under Modi: Relevance for the Region and the World” organized by the Bandaranaike Center for International Studies. He further stated that human rights have been used selectively by sections of the international community.

He inquired what the Americans would say about the atomic bombs on Japan and what the British would say to the Dresden bombing, where a city with no military value was almost totally destroyed in a single night of bombing. What the West would say was that those were collateral damage but this excuse applies to them only, he observed.

“We are proud that your president was able to defeat terrorism, which could have grown into even a more threatening menace,” pointing out that no country had such success in eliminating such a dangerous terrorist organization completely.

Dr. Swamy also stressed that there were a number of people who want Sri Lanka not to succeed. To overcome the challenges, he asked Sri Lankans to dispel certain misconceptions, namely ethnicity and the existence of a Tamil Nadu factor. The fact that Aryans and Dravidians were different was a concept of the British, he said: “Ethnicity is a figment of British imagination”..

b4He also pointed out that the Tamil Nadu factor was a creation of the political classes and certain cinema personalities. These creators are sometimes funded by LTTE money, some of which has been raised by the LTTE even through drug smuggling. Dr. Swamy said that one weakness in India’s policy towards Sri Lanka was the veto power Tamil Nadu had. He suggested that this situation will not remain the same. (because the great Subramaniam Swamy is there to protect SL).

The special quality of the Brahmins is that they will serve any foreign master at the expense of his own race as you have seen above. After India gained independence in August 1947, they switched their allegiance to the ruling party in Delhi. This is their survival instinct. They are trying very hard to regain their former prestigious position, while  keeping hold on the centre of power. Their Brahman ordained job of preaching to the people is no longer profitable.

b5As a result they will soon make an exit from the temples. In the case of Subramaniam Swamy, he has gone one step further. In addition of being a BJP think-tank member, he serves a foreign master to the detriment of his own fellow Tamils. Coming back to the question, “who is a Brahmin?”That is a difficult question to answer today, as they have many hues. One point is clear – they are furtherest away from God. Please read the link. You will see the great Swamy speaking like Prime Minister Modi himself.
