YOURSAY ‘The lesson is 1MDB will always follow you like your shadow.’

No place to hide for Najib, even on Raya

‘1MDB funds in your account’ – PM clams up

yrsaynoplacetohide Pemerhati: PM Najib Razak is following the script that was used in the Altantuya Shaariibuu murder case. While Najib kept quiet, the enforcement and judicial officers colluded to protect Najib.
Now again there is strong evidence to indicate that Najib many have committed a crime by stealing billions, allegedly using the 1MDB scam.

While Najib maintains his elegant silence, the enforcement and judicial officials will again carry out a repeat performance.

They will first ascertain the facts (some of the incriminating facts collected by them have been revealed by The Wall Street Journaland others) and then they will decide how best to protect Najib, just as they did in the Altantuya case.

As the police very much like to know how much of the truth the opposition and others have learnt from former PetroSaudi International director Xavier Andre Justo, they will do anything, including unfairly arresting the opposition or anyone else to get the facts and then device a strategy to protect and exonerate Najib.

Odin Tajué: The Chinese, Christians and Jews are really horrid people. They have banded together and conspired evilly to grant poor Najib no peace even in an auspicious occasion such as this, when they know very well he is completely innocent of all the baseless, malicious allegations hurled into his face.

Just look at the fellow’s once crowning glory; it has dimmed considerably after several thousand strands of hair have fallen off since last March.

He has managed to stand upright on his feet and soldiered on despite his shredded sails and ruined rudder only because he is a Bugis warrior, with no ordinary blood coursing through his capillaries, veins and arteries, and paddled against the stormy seas with nothing more than his hands.

Never in the history of mankind, written or oral, has the world witnessed a better, stronger, more upright leader.

Onlooker: Odin Tajué, beautifully expressed. You made my heart bleed in sympathy.

Mushiro: Kudos to Malaysiakini journalists for queuing up at Najib’s Hari Raya open house and posing the question to him. Najib was given another opportunity to deny that the 1MDB funds went into his bank accounts, but he did not do so.

I guess Najib cannot deny this as he is worried that other evidence will then be shown.

Armchair Newspaper: Malaysiakini should hold its head high for being refused entry to cover what is an official event.

Now everyone wants to know why PMO (Prime Minister’s Office) is so fearful of Malaysiakini. And where is your spirit of forgiveness on this auspicious occasion, Mr Prime Minister?

Saphire: Najib, only in Malaysia you can pick and choose reporters, and it is a crying shame that you barred Malaysiakinifrom attending the Raya open house, which is funded partly by taxes collected from its staff.

And despite selectively picking journalists, you were ambushed with questions on 1MDB.  And you shamelessly kept your silence.

The lesson is 1MDB will always follow you like your shadow, as long as you do not answer those allegations convincingly, and if you claim to be innocent, why not answer those queries like a Bugis warrior?

Commentable: By his muted response to media queries, Najib is now more like Mr Everything2hide. A person with a guilty conscience will squirm at the sight of a journalist fromMalaysiakini.

Why the need to ban Malaysiakini from entering Seri Perdana to cover the ‘open house’ event?

Wg321: Only Najib can solve the mystery of the missing RM2.6 billion. He is the only one who can shut up that nosy MP, Tony Pua.
Najib should give permission to AmBank to declare publicly the bank statements of his accounts from the month of March 2013 to August 2013 so that it can be published in Malaysiakini, etc, for all and sundry to see that there is no RM2.6 billion in his accounts.

Setting up a task force is a sheer waste of time.

All records in banks have to be kept for at least seven years. It is a criminal offence to delete bank records. Banks are not like the Immigration Department where records, such as Altantuya’s entry records, could be deleted at any time.

Gaji Buta: If the money went to PM’s account and used for the general elections, the entire cabinet, probably including MCA, Gerakan, etc, will have to defend him.

Bank Negara too may have to since they did not do anything during the alleged transfer of money.

Multi Racial: A crime is a crime. Those guilty have to be punished to the maximum of the law with no exception. If what claimed by WSJ is true, then Najib has committed a crime. It does not matter how he used the money.

Even if the money is 100 percent donated to charity, it is still a crime as the money did not belong to him. However, if the money went somewhere else such as other individuals then these individuals should also be punished as well, again with no exception.

Anonymous #28648954: Najib, you may think silence is golden, but action speaks louder than words, or rather, lack of it.

Anonymous 759201436321741: Think of it this way. Suppose you are a hostage, and locked up in some dingy cell. You are waiting to be released or shot depending on whether the ransom money would be paid.

Can you imagine what’s going in your mind when the cell door opens every time? How long can one take this type of mental torture?
