Najib’s Arabian donation fairy tale slowly crumble

Saudi prince says kingdom never gives money to cause political turmoil

yrsaygovttohonouryoursay-EnglishKim Quek: Saudi Prince Sultan Abdulaziz’s declaration that his country has never donated money to meddle in the internal politics of another country is a slap on the face of PM Najib Razak’s defenders who claimed that the RM2.6 billion was a Saudi donation to help Umno-BN win GE13.

Najib’s story of receiving the donation from a Saudi prince is further blown to smithereens when the prince, son of King Salman and tourism minister, said that he has “really no background on the issue”, meaning he knows nothing about it.

If a Saudi prince donates a sum as huge as US$681 million to a foreign prime minister personally for purpose as serious as to help the latter win the election, shouldn’t this son of King Salmon have at least heard about it?

And how does this Saudi fairy tale compared to the documentary evidence that Najib received the US$681 million from Tanore Finance, which was set up by Jho Low’s associate named Tan Kim Loong?

Middle Path: “I really have no background on this issue, I’m not trying to brush it off but I really have no background. It is an internal issue for Malaysia, and I’m sure you’ll get it sorted out,” said Sultan Abdulaziz.

Read that carefully. He gave a strong hint that he had no such knowledge of the donation.

It’s Malaysia own problem and should be resolved without involving others, especially the Saudis. Get it?

Anonymous 2353861441183710: If the Saudi prince has no background on this matter, it just means he is saying they did not give it.

How can someone give billions and not have any background knowledge of it.

Mushiro: It appears that the Saudi prince is talking in riddles. It is either some Saudi prince has donated the money or not.

And even if they were among the biggest donors in the world, surely they do not donate into someone’s personal bank account.

Apache: The Saudi citizens and taxpayers should stage a revolt when their government implemented an austerity drive, raising taxes and cutting public expenditures to beef up their state coffers.

Their leaders have used their funds to donate to foreign leaders when they should have helped their own countrymen and citizens.

RM2.6 Billion Turkey Haram: Prince Abdulaziz, it is imperative that you make your statement clearly.

Either you deny in no uncertain terms that the royalty had made the donation or admit that there really was such transfer of RM2.6 billion to Najib.

Don’t make such a vague statement. It has been already claimed that your family had donated such a large sum, and thus far none has come out to deny it, perhaps all hoping to gain some credit.

But eventually if the investigation proved otherwise, the Arab royal family will be shamed as well.

Doc: “Saudi Arabia has never put in money to cause political turmoil in other countries, said a member of its royal family.”

The House of Saud is the largest funder of terrorism in the world and that is a fact. The US government is about to release an important document which states that the Saudi government had prior knowledge and funded Al-Qaeda in the 9/11 attacks.

Any why is the US government releasing these documents 15 years after the deadly 9/11 attacks? Because the US does not need Saudi oil anymore, and it is now chummier with Saudi’s rival Iran.

Hplooi: Yes, the Saudis were also responsible for nurturing the Taliban not to mentioned the growth of madrassahs promoting an austere interpretation of Wahhabism throughout Asia.

Senior Citizen: Tourism and Culture Minister Nazri Abdul Aziz, donation to the nation is acceptable but not when it went into the prime minister ‘s personal account. Please don’t bring shame the nation.

Negarawan: “It is an internal issue for Malaysia, and I’m sure you’ll get it sorted out,” said Prince Abdulaziz.

Clearly what the prince is saying is that the source of the “donation” is from within Malaysia and it has nothing to do with the Saudi regime.

D Lovrenciear: Indeed, the Saudi government has clearly distanced itself from this 1MDB debacle. It is now an “internal matter” which we must sort out ourselves.

Malaysians, where are you and how shall we sort it out?

Ex-PJ: The Saudi prince is being polite to his host. But he has dropped a big hint.

KnockKnock: Had the sum of money truly and morally being given out as claimed by those who close to the PM, the Saudi prince would have loudly and clearly affirmed, “Yes, it came from us!”
