Malacca CM, why would US want to kill the Malays
Malacca CM: After killing Iraqis, US now coming after Malays
FellowMalaysian: Malacca Chief Minister Idris Haron’s speech is filled with anger and hatred against none other than the US government and he squarely blamed them for Department of Justice’s (DOJ’s) damning 136-page court filings, the contents of which showed, amongst other things, how cavalier 1MDB was over its losses.
The content of Idris’ speech and his infuriated outburst were the ‘giveaways’ that let him to ‘reveal’ his real feelings – that of debilitating fear of the might, capability and resourcefulness of the array of arsenals the US government or regulating authorities are able to engage and deploy – at least where seeking-out of data and information is concerned.
Idris has just, albeit only inadvertently, divulged the morbid fear of Umno, if he is the latest Umno leader roped in to defend the fort of MO1 (Malaysian Official 1). But whether his fear is rational or proved to be unfounded is yet to be seen.
Unafraid: What has the US military involvement in Iraq have to do with the DOJ exposing massive fraud in the usage of 1MDB funds? The only common denominator between Iraqis and Malays are that they are Muslims.
So is this moronic CM insinuating that the US is intentionally targeting Muslims? Also, how come the Malays are so closely entwined with 1MDB that anything affecting 1MDB, the Malays get offended?
If I were a Malay, I will be so insulted by this stupid representative of my race.
XED: There is, however, one big difference. The lies underlying the invasion of Iraq were exposed by Western institutions themselves. An inquiry ordered by the British government exposed the lies.
There is far greater commitment to democracy and the rule of law in Western countries like Britain. True, they have their criminals too but they are more likely than countries like Malaysia to bring these criminals to justice. That is what the DOJ is doing in the case of 1MDB.
What is Malaysia doing? No crime committed, says Malaysia’s attorney-general. The Malacca CM talks in racist terms, about defending the Malay race.
Is he willing to condemn those of his race who have exploited other members of his race and have stolen much of the wealth of this country?
Hplooi: The Yanks should have no illusion in supporting a corrupt leader on the basis of ‘geopolitical realpolitik’. The support of corrupt leaders such as the Shah of Iran and the various dictators in the Middle East, by some measure led to the rise of the Islamic radicals.
When all middle grounds are suppressed, the only reality on the ground would be the radical fascist (note: fascist appeals to a xenophobic form of exceptionalism).
In Malaysia, the regime will ultimately fall. Despite refutation by the current corrupt regime (for example, “no one is starving”), the natural resources of Malaysia are supporting this leviathan (which in a less endowed nation would have collapsed long ago).
Unfortunately, the longer this fall is put off, the worse it will be. I posit that a radical form of Islam will rise, when all civil and liberal society have been effectively suppressed. The best action by the Yanks would be to shine the truth.
Citizen No 26: They have started their GE14 campaign by offering to the majority voters in the rural areas an alternative view of the 1MDB scandal.
This is deliberately done on the belief that repeating a lie over and over again will make it believable to the rural folks who are not very educated.
Therefore, when will the opposition parties unite together and take the appropriate counter-actions to educate the rural voters instead of squabbling amongst themselves?
Vijay47: His wife has just been raped, his children abused and savagely slashed, his life savings stolen, and all an Umno leader can cry is “Arise! The Americans are attacking the Malays!”
Unsaid in this call is the honour that the US has bestowed on the Malays, that they are a mighty force to be reckoned with, a Southeast Asian power that the 7th Fleet has to be unleashed on. Why, the honour is almost as high as the American president playing golf with a Malay.
How much support or pity can non-Malays offer after such a display of abysmal lack of self-respect and disregard of blatant monumental criminal acts that surprise the world? What will we have next, “The Russians are coming”?
When this leader meets his Maker, God will ask, “Art thou confused, thy faith weakened? With the gifts I gave thee, how canst thou speak in such manner? Surely when I created thee I blessed thee with wit and intelligence greater than that I gave the monkeys at Terendak Camp?”
Anonymous 2415891461978791: Is there a special Umno Academy where these guys are schooled in how to make incoherent remarks?
First, is Idris saying Najib is like Saddam? What’s this about killing Malays? Why would the DOJ want to prevent Malays from being “uplifted”?
Of course, the ones keeping Malays from being “uplifted” are the same ones who are robbing them of billions. I note with approval that Team Najib has reached the foaming-at-the-mouth stage.
Rocky: In a twisted manner, I really admire this guy, because I don’t have such courage to say something so stupid…
BohChaiSee: Listen up people, I have a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) contact who clandestinely resides in a small township named after a fruit and located a few miles from Ipoh.
He tells me not to make light of what Idris had to say about the US’ intention to attack the Malays. Every word of his statement is true and we ignore it at our own peril.
Funnily enough he did not want to tell me why the US would single out only the Malays to attack.
