Noh: Selangor needs BN to be ‘tauke‘ again

Anonymous 1811351504586755: Selangor BN chief Noh Omar must realise that whoever wins Selangor in the coming 14th general election will not be the boss of the people, but are elected to serve the people in the state.

Your vision of a state government is more of a kleptocracy rather than a democracy.

It is doubtful that BN can even hold on to the state seats they have. For Selangor at least, we are awaiting GE14 eagerly.

Clever Voter: BN wants to rule Selangor very badly. The state has performed relatively better than others, supported by more advanced infrastructure, and it is much wealthier.

The state is also home to a good diversity of communities. The people are generally better educated, which invariably brings with it better tolerance and awareness. Expectations of public services are also higher.

Noh Omar and his BN associates will find their patronage style of canvassing for votes repulsive, if not outdated. Higher expectations and standards include greater transparency and a community-first outlook.

The strong community feeling is that even if an alternative government cannot be formed at that federal level, the state of Selangor is unlikely to be returned to the past-its-sell-by-date BN.

Gerard Lourdesamy: Dream on, Noh Omar. The voters in Selangor are not stupid.

Umno is using foul means to win the state with the collusion of the Election Commission (EC) and other unelected personages, but who are politically irrelevant to the rakyat.

Not only is Umno going to do badly in GE14, but its so-called “inroads” are leading the party straight to sea.

Ex-decorated Sargent: Does Noh think Selangorians are so stupid that we don’t know which government is rakyat-centric, and which is corrupt from head to toe?

CNHT: People of Selangor, don’t take chances. Make sure this Umno leader loses his seat this time around.

But don’t stop there. Come out in full force and vote all the corrupt ones out.

Newday: If Noh is depending on NGOs to be the bridge between the government and the people, then he really has lost touch with what is relevant and what is real.

This dependence on NGOs just shows how far Umno-BN has enclosed itself in a bubble that is far removed from dealing directly with the people’s needs and issues.

PKR have directly engaged with the people, and that is why they are in power in Selangor.

KKKSSS: So BN is “tauke”, meaning Selangorians are “kuli”?

Susah Kes: This is one towkay, Selangorians – or for that matter, Malaysians – do not need to do business with.

The present coterie of Umno-BN towkays is, of course, more than welcome to take their business to, say, Mars.

They can go on a ‘lawatan sambal belajar’ (study tour) – which most of them are usually very keen on – to do a cost-benefit study on how udang (prawns) will survive the atmosphere of the red planet.

Dr M outplayed Muhyiddin by calling for Anwar’s release, claims Jasa boss

Dr Ng SC: Department of Special Affairs (Jasa) director-general Mohd Puad Zarkashi’s detailed story about tumult within Bersatu involving Dr Mahathir Mohamad, Muhyiddin Yassin and even jailed opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim shows that he would make a good fiction writer.

You are trying to sow discord in Bersatu, which is what Umno is best at.

Don’t you worry, Puad, Bersatu and Pakatan Harapan will work their issues out. We are all united in our quest to get rid of Umno, MO1 and Mrs MO1.

We do want to make you leaders in GE14, but leaders of the opposition.

Anonymous 133971438080786: Puad is pushing his luck with this dime-store fiction. We Malaysians are no longer blinded by your words. Keep trying.

U Think We Stupid: Puad is a director-general of a government department. He should not be a politician.

If he wants to get involved in politics he should resign and stand for elections.

Anonymous 2436471476414726: Yes, more fake news from Puad. If he was so good at analysing political events, maybe he should have foreseen himself losing in Batu Pahat in GE13.

We know what he is trying to do – to drive a wedge between leaders in Harapan by concocting a tale of a “power tussle” within the party.

Puad is clearly not fit to be a leader anymore, which is why his party relegated him to the propaganda unit of the Jasa. His only job is to make noise every now and again.

I doubt Umno would even field him again in GE14. His loss is a foregone conclusion.

Ipohcrite: If nothing else, Puad’s theory makes for nice reading to kick away the Monday blues.

Hamzah Paiman: We agree with you Puad. As you say, Muhyiddin seems largely irrelevant.

But so are you.
