This project is a collaboration between Creative Dreams International and Tamil Foundation Malaysia.

This E-Learning project is vital for our Tamil schools to move towards Tamil Foundation’s 5 year mission of achieving 80% passing rate in Tamil schools. A small percentage of improvement in any student is a huge stride ahead for our Tamil schools; towards our mission and vision, Ms.Usharani, Vice-President of Tamil Foundation, said in statement.

The Focus-A E-Learning portals are very comprehensive for our students and enhance school teaching and also tuition. It is the latest trend of learning and teachers are able to monitor the student’s progress everyday via the Score Card in the school. The programme is endorsed by MOSTI (Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation) as a “Malaysian Innovation” and has MSC (Multimedia Super Corridor) status, she explained.

Creative Dreams International (CDI) has sponsored 500 numbers of Focus-A E-Learning Portals to Tamil Foundation Malaysia, since Tamil Foundation conducts many relevant projects for the Tamil schools in the country, for the benefit of our Tamil school children. Tamil Foundation has a proven track record of conducting very viable projects for our Tamil schools nationwide. But now, CDI has decided to hand over these portals to all students with access in their schools. Only the exam year, Standard 6 students are given the extra privilege of assessing it at home for revision, she added.

For a start, the sponsored portals will be handed over to all the Tamil schools equipped with computer labs and internet access in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur.

This handing over event is scheduled for to-morrow (May 15, 2014) Thursday from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm at CDI HQ, Unit 516, 5th Floor, Block E, Phileo Damansara 1, Section 16, PJ. (beside EASTIN Hotel & STAR building).

Schools without Computer Labs and Internet Access are also invited for the ceremony.

The Deputy Minister of Education P. Kamalanathan will be the guest of honour.
