Stop State Violence Movement condemns the government’s intervention that stops Dr. Porntip from participating in Sugumar’s second autopsy. The revelation by Rights group Lawyers for Liberty (LFL) had proven the government tries to cover-up wrongdoings and hinders Sugumar’s family from seeking justice.

Therefore, we urge Malaysians who are frustrated about endless death in police custody stand by Sugumar’s family, join our nation wide candle light vigil “Justice for Sugumar, Najib don’t Stop Porntip” on 23 February 2013, 8pm at places as follows:
