Najib must explain how he spent SRC money
Why hasn’t Najib returned SRC’s RM69m to gov’t?
Aries46: Petaling Jaya Utara MP Tony Pua, getting PM Najib Razak to come clean on the SRC International’s RM69 million allegedly channelled into his personal account is tantamount to flogging a dead horse.
How do you expect to hold Najib to account for his billions or to even respond to the alleged multi-billion-ringgit fraud involving his brainchild 1MDB and from SRC while the ostriches among the Umno-BN ruling elites and the compliant establishment including the law enforcement agencies right up to the attorney-general are bending backward to exonerate their master?
Even the Parliament, dominated by establishment lackeys, many of whom are also themselves tainted with the embezzled funds, is nothing more than a rubber stamp to protect the corrupted among them.
Kim Quek: Yes, Prime Minister cum Finance Minister Najib must answer why he has not returned the RM69 million to SRC that he claimed he had received without knowing that it came from the Finance Ministry-owned company.
AG Mohamed Apandi Ali must also answer why he has not taken action against the culprits in SRC and possibly in Finance Ministry as well who approved the illegal channelling of the RM69 million to Najib.
Further, the police, Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) and the AG must explain why SRC managing director Nik Faisal Ariff Kamil has been allowed to roam free despite the latter having approved the illicit channelling of US$11.95 million (RM48 million) to a company owned by Tan Kim Loong, who is an associate of Jho Low, documentary evidence of which is now in a Singapore court.
These are alleged high crimes of abuse of power and corruption involving enormous amounts of public funds, for which both the cabinet and Parliament must seek immediate intervention.
Mushiro: Nik Faisal has allegedly the power of attorney to operate Najib’s account where the RM69 million is parked and the police have not even bothered to locate him.
The evidence is plenty but the will to prosecute is not there as the police and other authorities are not brave enough to do their work.
Anonymous _4313: Evidently there are those who are jealous of Najib’s success in leading the country.
That’s why they spreading lies to discredit Najib’s reputation using 1MDB although the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) has presented the results of the investigation.
Pahatian: Some cybertroopers are a disgrace to everyone, and especially to themselves. Even when the truth is slowly being unveiled, they still talk about 1MDB being on the road to recovery.
I would assume that even when their houses are almost engulfed by fire, they would still believe that their houses could be saved. I think they should better jump into the burning inferno as well.
Basically: I guess our cybertroopers are fine with the fact PM hasn’t returned the millions from SRC – which he didn’t know how it landed into his private account – back to you and me, the taxpayers.
How convenient. Perhaps should SRC accidentally land RM42 million into our accounts, I would also make flattering statements about 1MDB.
Anonymous 333051435672397: My advice is we as Malaysians should be rational and not be emotional in assessing and making deductions on issues we are not that conversant with, and avoid listening to presumptions and hearsay evidence.
Wira: My advice to the PM is: You need to account for, with certified documentation, the millions and billions which appeared in your personal bank account.
So many years and months had already passed. Why can’t you give us a proper answer?
Anonymous 1890491455255851: I’m amazed at how the PM can remain in office with all the clear-cut evidence of wrongdoing. And even more amazed that authorities have not brought charges against Nik Faisal.
But obviously nothing compares to the amazing excuse by the PM that he did not know at all about the money coming from SRC.
Headhunter: As more details are emerging, it is now very clear that the whole scenario – from its inception to the present time – was an alleged scam.
The most amazing thing is that none of the perpetrators has been hauled up yet and some of them are in hiding.
And there seems that there is no effort to track any of them down, with one even still remain the PM of the country. It’s like a huge time bomb that has yet to explode.
Hello: Recently there was in the news that a Malaysian girl spent millions of dollars mistakenly sent to her bank account in Australia and she was prosecuted.
So Najib, who had allegedly spent money that was sent to his account without his knowledge – so he claims – should be prosecuted too.
BohChaiSee: That’s only RM69 million. Where’s the RM4 billion that SRC borrowed from the civil service pension fund, KWAP?
